athens weekend!

Before Charlotte I was in Athens, GA - the home of the Georgia Bulldogs for a residency conference. These are my fellow pharmacy residents at Vandy! We were celebrating after presenting our research projects at this regional residency meeting. So glad to have that over with... only 2 months to go! (from left: Nikki, Mindy, Alan, me, Kanan)

We spent the weekend hanging out with the Bails as yet another rainy weekend was in the forecast. Here are some pics of us hanging out around the house.

Easter!

A cold Easter 2007 in TN this year. We enjoyed a lovely Easter dinner of ham and all the fixins' with some Nashvillian friends. Much different than the warm Easter of 2006 in Charlotte...

Skiing in CO

We hit the slopes March 9-12th out in Keystone, CO and we skiied Adam - style aka nonstop every day. The 11,000 ft elevation didn't seem to affect us and we even skiied some blacks. Our first black was an interesting experience of mogules, about 5x longer than the double shay's on the back mountain at Snowshoe. Needless to say, Adam wasn't to thrilled that I dragged him on the black. There was about 8 to 10 inches of powder on this run, so much that our skies would completely disappear beneath our feet. And the mogules were hard packed, easily 3-4 feet high. All in all it was great fun and no accidents to speak of. My 2 falls came while I was standing still, though I can't say the same for Adam - the mogules don't agree with him. We can't wait to go back!
