10/18/15 submitted application to America World (AWAA)

10/21/15 accepted into China waiting child program

11/2/15 home study initiated with AWAA-NC

11/3/15 the 'paper chase' officially begins

12/21/15 completed & mailed all paperwork requirements for home study process

1/7/16 joint home study interview

1/12/16 14 documents out for certification & authentication

1/14/16 individual home study interviews

1/25/16 last home study meeting at our house with the kids

2/9/16 completed 10 hours of Hague training

2/22/16 home study draft completed by social worker

2/26/16 home study approved by AWAA

3/2/16 USCIS I800a application mailed

3/25/16 fingerprinted at Homeland Security office in Charlotte for USCIS application

4/23/16 received I800a approval notice

4/24/16 I800a and 2 remaining documents to NC Secretary of State for state certification

5/5/16 all dossier documents sent to agency

5/9/16 documents out for final authentication at US State Dept and Chinese Embassy

5/27/16 dossier to China!

6/13/16 LID

9/12/16 received our referral!!!!!!!!!!

9/15/16 LOI (letter of intent) sent to China

9/18/16 Mary Carson turns 18 months

9/23/16 LOA (letter of acceptance) received from China - China said yes! - she's ours!!!

9/30/16 updated file info received, I800 sent

10/3/16 I800 arrived at lockbox

10/17/16 I800 approved

10/26/16 GUZ # received, DS260 completed

10/27/16 NVC PDF/RTF

10/31/16 Article 5 drop off

11/15/16 Article 5 pick up

11/22/16 Travel Approval! We're going to China!!

12/13/16 depart for China

12/19/16 meet Mary Carson - family day!

12/29/16 return to USA
